Mér tókst að fá prófessorinn minn til að hlægja í dag. Það kann ekki að virðast neitt merkilegt, en er það þó í raun. Hún er nefnilega ekki afslappaðasta manneskja í heiminum.
Málið var að það var ansi skæð bakteríumengun i DC ræktunum mínum. Þannig að ég var að ræða við Miriam um það hvort að ég ætti að gefa afgangnum af frumuræktunum mínum að borða í dag. Við ákváðum að það væri ekki ráðlegt, og því myndu frumurnar fá að borða einum degi of seint:

Miriam: I guess there is no other way not to contaminate your other cultures except if you could change clothes. -But I guess you don't have spare clothes in the lab. Or you could go in the nude! Just do naked tissue culture!
Erna: Whahahahaha..... that would be something, naked tissue culture, sounds more lika an art project to me!
Miriam: Oh, I guess there is no other way for you than to come in really early tomorrow morning and feed them. And those clothes are gonna have to be washed... and you'll have to shower... and...........
Erna: But, but... I only shower on Wednesdays!

I can't believe it. I told the lamest joke ever and she laughed! She must have been in a real good mood today!
